Host and Guest Agreements<\/h2>\n<p>Any agreement, booking, rental arrangement, payment, deposit, cancellation, refund, damage issue, access issue, event disruption, or property-use dispute is between the host and the guest unless Ruteria expressly states otherwise in writing.<\/p>\n<p>Ruteria is not a party to those agreements and is not responsible for enforcing them.<\/p>\n<p>Hosts and guests are encouraged to clearly confirm the terms of any arrangement in writing, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Date and time<\/li>\n<li>Permitted use<\/li>\n<li>Guest count<\/li>\n<li>Price and payment terms<\/li>\n<li>Deposit requirements<\/li>\n<li>Cancellation terms<\/li>\n<li>Access areas<\/li>\n<li>Off-limit areas<\/li>\n<li>Parking rules<\/li>\n<li>Noise expectations<\/li>\n<li>Fire rules<\/li>\n<li>Alcohol rules<\/li>\n<li>Vendor access<\/li>\n<li>Cleanup responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>Damage responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>Insurance requirements<\/li>\n<li>Permit responsibilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ruteria may help facilitate communication, but users remain responsible for their own agreements and decisions.<\/p>\n<h2>9. Insurance<\/h2>\n<p>Ruteria does not provide insurance coverage for hosts, guests, organizers, vendors, attendees, properties, vehicles, equipment, structures, animals, crops, or events.<\/p>\n<p>Hosts and guests are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance for their property, event, activities, vendors, alcohol service, equipment, attendees, and any other relevant risks.<\/p>\n<p>Users should confirm coverage directly with their insurer before hosting, booking, attending, or organizing an event.<\/p>\n<p>Hosts should not assume that standard home, farm, commercial, or property insurance covers event use.<\/p>\n<p>Guests and organizers should not assume that the host\u2019s insurance covers their event, vendors, attendees, activities, or liabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Ruteria is not responsible for uninsured losses, denied claims, exclusions, gaps in coverage, or insurance disputes.<\/p>\n<h2>10. Permits, Bylaws, and Local Rules<\/h2>\n<p>Hosts and guests are responsible for confirming and complying with all applicable requirements, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Municipal bylaws<\/li>\n<li>Provincial laws<\/li>\n<li>Federal laws<\/li>\n<li>Zoning rules<\/li>\n<li>Agricultural land rules<\/li>\n<li>Fire-safety rules<\/li>\n<li>Building and occupancy rules<\/li>\n<li>Noise bylaws<\/li>\n<li>Alcohol rules<\/li>\n<li>Food-service rules<\/li>\n<li>Parking and traffic rules<\/li>\n<li>Environmental rules<\/li>\n<li>Waste-management rules<\/li>\n<li>Tent, structure, and temporary installation rules<\/li>\n<li>Public gathering or event requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some events may require permits, approvals, inspections, insurance certificates, site plans, traffic plans, emergency plans, security plans, sanitation plans, fire-safety measures, or other documentation.<\/p>\n<p>Ruteria may provide general planning prompts, but Ruteria does not determine whether an event is permitted, compliant, insurable, safe, or appropriate.<\/p>\n<p>Users should contact the relevant municipality, insurer, professional advisor, or authority before proceeding with any event or property use.<\/p>\n<h2>11. Property Access, Boundaries, and Restricted Areas<\/h2>\n<p>Hosts are responsible for clearly identifying which parts of the property are available for use and which areas are restricted.<\/p>\n<p>Guests and organizers must respect all property boundaries, restricted areas, instructions, signage, gates, fences, fields, animals, buildings, equipment, and private spaces.<\/p>\n<p>Unless clearly agreed with the host, guests and organizers may not access:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Private residences<\/li>\n<li>Barns or outbuildings<\/li>\n<li>Equipment areas<\/li>\n<li>Animal areas<\/li>\n<li>Crop areas<\/li>\n<li>Storage areas<\/li>\n<li>Water features<\/li>\n<li>Forested areas<\/li>\n<li>Neighbouring properties<\/li>\n<li>Any area marked or communicated as off-limits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Guests and organizers are responsible for ensuring that attendees, vendors, staff, and invitees follow the host\u2019s property rules.<\/p>\n<h2>13. Vendors, Rentals, and Third Parties<\/h2>\n<p>Events may involve third-party vendors or rental providers, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Caterers<\/li>\n<li>Tent companies<\/li>\n<li>Washroom providers<\/li>\n<li>Generator providers<\/li>\n<li>DJs or musicians<\/li>\n<li>Decorators<\/li>\n<li>Rental companies<\/li>\n<li>Shuttle providers<\/li>\n<li>Security providers<\/li>\n<li>Bar services<\/li>\n<li>Photographers<\/li>\n<li>Planners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ruteria is not responsible for third-party vendors, rentals, services, equipment, delays, cancellations, damages, injuries, or disputes.<\/p>\n<p>Guests and organizers are responsible for confirming that vendors are qualified, insured, permitted, and approved by the host where required.<\/p>\n<p>Hosts may set reasonable rules for vendor access, setup, teardown, parking, noise, power use, waste, and site protection.<\/p>\n<h2>14. If Problems Arise<\/h2>\n<p>While Ruteria may help facilitate communication, disputes about the following are generally between hosts and guests:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cancellations<\/li>\n<li>Refunds<\/li>\n<li>Deposits<\/li>\n<li>Property conditions<\/li>\n<li>Listing accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Access issues<\/li>\n<li>Event disruptions<\/li>\n<li>Weather issues<\/li>\n<li>Plaintes pour bruit<\/li>\n<li>Vendor issues<\/li>\n<li>Damage<\/li>\n<li>Injuries<\/li>\n<li>Permits<\/li>\n<li>Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Compliance issues<\/li>\n<li>Neighbour complaints<\/li>\n<li>Guest conduct<\/li>\n<li>Host conduct<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ruteria may, at its discretion, review complaints, remove content, suspend accounts, or assist with communication.<\/p>\n<p>However, Ruteria is not responsible for resolving every dispute and does not guarantee a particular outcome.<\/p>\n<h2>17.
