Welcome to Ruteria
Ruteria helps people discover rural properties for gatherings, retreats, farm-based events, and other small-scale uses, while helping hosts share meaningful places and create supplemental income opportunities.
By using Ruteria, you agree to the terms below.
1. What Ruteria Does
Ruteria is a marketplace platform that helps connect:
- Property hosts
- Event organizers
- Guests seeking rural spaces
We help people discover spaces, compare listings, and connect.
Ruteria does not own, manage, operate, or supervise listed properties or events.
2. What Ruteria Does Not Do
Ruteria is not:
- a legal advisor
- a permitting authority
- an insurer
- an event organizer
- a property operator or venue manager
Listings and property information are provided largely by hosts and may change over time.
Users are responsible for verifying that a property is suitable for their intended use.
3. About Compliance Information
Some listings may include information related to:
- Parking
- Sound sensitivity
- Fire restrictions
- Water or sanitation
- Agricultural use considerations
- Permit or insurance indicators
These are screening aids only.
They are meant to help users ask better questions, not to guarantee that an event is lawful, approved, or permitted.
Ruteria does not provide legal, zoning, or permitting advice.
Users and hosts remain responsible for verifying municipal, provincial, state, county, and other applicable requirements.
4. Hosts Are Responsible For Their Listings
Hosts are responsible for:
- Providing accurate listing information
- Having authority to offer a property
- Following applicable laws and regulations
- Disclosing restrictions or risks they know about
- Obtaining permits or insurance where required
A listing on Ruteria does not mean Ruteria has approved or certified a property for event use.
5. Guests and Organizers Are Responsible For Their Events
Guests and organizers are responsible for:
- Evaluating whether a property fits their needs
- Obtaining permits or event insurance when needed
- Following host rules
- Respecting neighbors, land, and local regulations
- Conducting events lawfully and safely
Any agreement related to an event is between host and guest.
Ruteria is not a party to those agreements.
6. Rural Properties Carry Inherent Risks
Rural spaces can involve risks, including:
- Uneven terrain
- Farm equipment or animals
- Weather exposure
- Fire risk
- Water or sanitation limitations
- Remote access or slower emergency response
By using rural properties booked or discovered through Ruteria, users assume those risks.
7. Use the Platform Respectfully
Users may not:
- Post false or misleading listings
- Use the platform for unlawful events
- Circumvent platform arrangements to avoid agreed fees
- Misrepresent permits or compliance status
- Use the platform in a way that harms others or rural communities
We may remove listings or suspend accounts where needed.
8. If Problems Arise
While we may help facilitate communication, disputes about:
- cancellations
- property conditions
- injuries
- damages
- permits
- compliance issues
- event disruptions
are generally between hosts and guests.
9. Liability Limits
Ruteria provides the platform “as is.”
While we work to improve trust and clarity, we cannot guarantee:
- listing accuracy
- legal suitability of properties
- uninterrupted platform availability
- event outcomes
To the extent permitted by law, users assume responsibility for use of the platform and associated risks.
(See Full Terms of Service for complete legal terms.)
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of Ruteria means you accept those updates.
